SYKES Music Fest a Year-End Celebration 2013
Last December 15 SYKES sets another milestone at SMX Convention Center, Celebrating its Year-End with a Music Festival. The SMX was transformed into an indoor concert grounds with special participation of the popular bands in the music industry like Up Dharma Down, Giniling Festival, Kamikazee, Ebe Dancel, Up and Coming Save Me Hollywood, and Itchyworms.
The night is filled with non-stop music, first their very own Misc Bands and Cromson n’ Claire which is surprisingly are one of their Employee’s and truly indeed a talent they have there.
I’ve known SYKES for quite some time now because my cousin and some friends has been part of this company and knowing all the good benefits and compensation, truly SYKES has done a great job all throughout this years.
I remember also way back then when I applied for SYKES which was also partnered with the STI Alumni Program which really makes it easier for some students to land a job.
Dean Van Ormer , Vice — President for Philippines Operations, gave a warm welcome and thank you to all the people of SYKES , Clients and Partners who become part of them for over 16 years.
Dean Van noted that “What I love about SYKESers is your passion” “You have always shown great passion in and out of work that is why we had such a great 2013” This year, we have shown the industry why we are THE pioneer in the call center industry.
And can you imagine that SYKES started with just 15 employees way back in 1997 and they were the Pioneer Call Center and also the first BPO Company in the Philippines.

Not only this was just a party full of music they also given away Gadgets and a Grand Prize of a Brand New Mitsubishi Mirage such a win for that lucky person.
SYKES also showcased their Art Installation which was created by their Employees, they have four entries to vote with and here are some of them.
This is really amazing because in spite of being a busy employees on a day-to-day job or being a graveyard person for some of them they still managed to create a masterpiece from their busy schedules, I wonder how they did it. 🙂
That night was filled with passionate and inspiring people and to all my call center friends who work for SYKES I my self wants to congratulate you for an amazing year and a job well done, also be proud and you have been part of this memorable moment of SYKES.
There is more to come for SYKES because recently they open then Glorietta Site where it is the 1st Call Center Office which offers highly supportive facilities.
SYKES has a lot of surprises in the next upcoming months and years this is just the start and way of giving back to all the help and support that the people gave all throughout this years.
