GMA Network Kapuso Digitized Technology Bloggers Event
We recently got invited by GMA Network Kapuso to take a look at their state of the art studios and also meet some of their Kapuso GMA Network Artist , they also showed us the latest update of their website.
So we started first on the ground floor and we saw the actual costumes used in the Encantadia teleserye that was recently aired on GMA.
Also on the same location is the actual Machete Statue used in the Machete teleserye

and then we’ve moved on to the GMA News TV Studio this is where they usually conduct the News Forecast
After that we went to another studio, here they usually conduct the News Flash and News Stories as you will see in the studio there are lots of lighting and LCD’s and also they have a control center where they monitor a flow of the GMA show before we took photo’s we needed to wait for a while because Pia Arcangel is conducting a News Flash or we called she is ON AIR so we waited for that to finish before we can enter the studio.
They said that GMA has upgraded their lighting tools to LED lights which is before they are using Kino Flo lights although they still have have parts that is Kinoflo they said almost 90% of the studio’s are already upgraded, Lights are more efficient and easy to control when it comes to lighting and it has more life span comparing to the Kino Flo lights.
Our next stop was the station of Mr. Herman Moreno also known for Kuya Germs the DZBB 594 Super Radyo when we got there they are ON AIR and so we got to see on how they do their jobs in action because typically you will just hear their voices but luckily we both see them and hear there voices it was really a fan experience and Kuya Germs was really entertaining and friendly.
and then we went to the Station of the Barangay LS 97.1 FM where luckily we got the chance to see Papa Kiko doing a setup on his station and preparing for his turn he is looking for tracks and doing some sequencing on his on the day segment 🙂
and lastly although this Studio is barely naked but they usually Build the Kusina Master here so you get to see on how it look when all the props and designs are not in the Studio, the studio is a fully sound proof and using the state of the art Lighting technology and usually when they are preparing for the Kusina Master Show they setup the place for 4 hours the decorations are all templated already so they can easily construct it in just a couple hours the materials is just outside the studio some of them are Glass, and what you see in the Kusina Master will all be put in this Studio for the Shoot of the show.
So that is the end of the tour of the Studio, after that we went to meet some of the GMA Network Kapuso Star’s

This young Talented GMA Kapuso Artist are such a down to earth and so friendly Mikoy was the most techie of them all he also brought his favorite Instax an instant developed photocamera. he was really a big fan of it because of it’s portability.
Well they all different technology personality While Mikoy is a Photo Lover , Ben is more active on Fitness lifestyle and Biking while actively using his iPhone 5s , while Mayton is a culinary student she really loves cooking and checking out recipes on her Ipad.
GMA Social Media Team also showed us the recent update of their website where now as you will you notice they have upgraded it to a responsive site which means it is now more mobile friendly so if you are reading the GMA Network Website on your Mobile it will be totally a whole new User Experience.
It was a blast! we’ve learn lots of this about the GMA Studios and some Kapuso Stars and we also get a chance to meet the whole Social Media Team and I would like the thanks them of course for letting me be part of this experience. Kudos to GMA and a Job Well done. 🙂
