HOW TO ROOT ARC MOBILE NITRO 450QD
HOW TO BACKUP YOUR STOCK FIRMWARE ROM
HOW TO FLASH CUSTOM RECOVERY
- You Need to be ROOTED FIRST! Before Proceeding
- Download and install the Mobile Uncle MTK Tool in the Google Play Store
- Download any of the Custom Recoveries that you have chosen [HERE]
- Be sure it is renamed to recovery.img or else it will not be detected
- Copy the recovery.img into your SDCARD
- Open the Mobile Uncle MTK Tool
- Click Recovery Update
- You will see the recovery.img in the that screen click that it will prompt “Are you sure to flash recovery!” click OK
- Reboot your Phone.
TIP: To access the Recovery mode turn off your phone and press and hold Volume Down + Power Button and wait for it to load the recovery mode.
TAKE NOTE THAT IS INVERTED WHEN YOU PORT IT
HOW TO FLASH VIA TWRP
- Copy the file MIUI_450QD_4.2.1_16.09.13_05–42–50_signed.zip to your SD Card or Internal Phone Memory
- Turn of Phone and press and Hold Volume Down + Power Button to Boot to Custom Recovery
- Click Wipe
- Click Factory Reset, then Cache, then Dalvik and Android Secure
- Click Back button located in the lower right corner
- Click Install and look for the file MIUI_450QD_4.2.1_16.09.13_05–42–50_signed.zip
- Wait for it to finish and Reboot
HOW TO FLASH VIA CWMR
- Copy the file MIUI_450QD_4.2.1_16.09.13_05–42–50_signed.zip to your SD Card or Internal Phone Memory
- Turn of Phone and press and Hold Volume Down + Power Button to Boot to Custom Recovery
- Use the Volume Up, Volume Down, and Power Button to Navigate to the CWMR Interface
- {REQUIRED} First Select Backup and Restore, and select OK and wait for it to finish
- Next is select Wipe Data Factory/Reset and wait for it to finish
- and then select Wipe cache partition
- and last is select Install Zip from SDCARD, and look for the file that you have copied on your phone so it depends if you copied it on your internal phone memory or SDcard just choose the right storage.
- and look for the file MIUI_450QD_4.2.1_16.09.13_05–42–50_signed.zip and select it and select YES and just wait for it to finish
- Reboot your Phone
- Welcome to MIUI 😀
BUG: On first Boot you will notice it is inverted, you need to toggle the notification bar and rotate it to the right direction and then disable the Auto Rotate Feature in the Toggle Section of the Notification Area, this is a bug on the actual firmware of the Phone we will Report this to Arc Mobile HQ
it may take 3–5 mins on first boot because it needs to cache all the files
