Cherry Mobile Cosmos One Plus 3GB of RAM Octa-core Smartphone

Spreading like wildfire is the leaked specs of the next flagship smartphone of the Cherry Mobile named Cosmos One Plus. first stop is the 5.5-inch LTPS (Low Temperature PolySilicon LCD) Full HD (1920×1080 pixels) IPS touchscreen display. it uses the LTPS LCD technology which means,

(Low Temperature PolySilicon LCD) An active matrix LCD screen that is faster and more integrated than screens made with amorphous silicon substrates. Rather than the single-crystal silicon used in chips, amorphous silicon advanced the active matrix industry by allowing thin-film transistors (TFTs) to be deposited on large substrates. There is a huge investment in existing amorphous technology; however, polysilicon provides an alternate approach for certain applications.

Aside from the display it’s powered by a 2.0GHz Octa-core processor, still not sure if it’s a 64-bit version of the MediaTek SoC. Having a 3GB of RAM with 32GB of Internal Storage is totally a jam-packed flagship phone.

Camera is using a 14-megapixel auto-focus rear camera with Sony Sensor (Sony MX 214) BSI Sapphire Lens F/2.0 plus 8-megapixel front-facing camera. it’s also 802.11ac Wi-Fi (a/b/g/n) with Bluetooth 4.0 having a GPS / GPS-A / Glonass and 4G LTE connectivity (TD-LTE , FDD LTE). Usually sensors are being neglected by local brands but i’m glad this is packed with Gravity, Distance, Light, E-Compass and Gyroscope.

Talking about battery Cosmos One plus will give a great battery life thanks to the 2,700mAh.
Now I really want to highlight this stuff based on the photo its running on a KitKat 4.4.2 but if you will notice the Kernel version is 3.10 which means it’s upgradable to Android Lollipop 5.0 since Lollipop requires a 3.10 kernel build to run.

Someone mentioned also that it will be just around Php13,999 which I think OK for its specs, Cherry Mobile having a great start this year and we can’t wait to checkout this smartphone.
