Gionee posted on their official fanpage that the Gionee Pioneer P2 have pushed an OTA Update which covers the following changelog:

- Updated Gionee Xender, optimized performance, and further improved linking success rate
- Updated Games Lobby with a new user interface design
- Added new themes set and one desktop wallpaper
- Support Hindi Input methods
