Users can now try Android N with Cherry Mobile G1
A couple of days ago I posted a snapchat video showing Android N in action with the Cherry Mobile G1 Android One. As of the moment only the counterpart device general mobile 4g is the official device available to beta test via this URL.
Unfortunately, even though Cherry Mobile G1 is the same specs as the General Mobile 4g it still not eligible for beta test and the only way to test the Android N beta preview is by flashing the image file of the General Mobile 4G which is now available for download for developers.
As what I said, both Cherry Mobile G1 and General Mobile 4G has the same build and specs that’s why if you’re interested to test the newest Android version simply follow the steps indicated here.
But do take note that you might need to do some manual changing of file path based on your system. But don’t worry I will have a tutorial soon on how to manually flash it with the Cherry Mobile G1.
