Unboxing DTC (GT17) Jupiter — 1.3Ghz Quad Core MT6582 Smartphone

Today we’re going to unbox the DTC (GT17) Jupiter one of their Quad-Core series, What I like about this phone it uses the MT6582 SoC of MediaTek with a combination of the Mali-400MP, oopps! did I just gave you a sneak peek any ways let’s first unbox the DTC Jupiter, as you will see the box is a very colorful and full detailed in all sides so you won’t miss any technical information about the phone but in the box it’s a 1.2GHz Quad Core but on the actual hardware it’s actually 1.3GHz, just a minor error there. actually if you will see the box close enough at the back even what’s included in the package is included which makes me think do I still need to unbox this LOL!. just Kidding.

Here’s what you’re going to get when you buy the DTC (GT17) Jupiter, a Screen Protector, 3.5mm Earphone, Warranty Card, User Manual, USB-Micro USB Cable, USB Travel Charger, the DTC (GT17) Jupiter itself and the free Hard back case, which I recommend to protect the back cover, Also because the Battery is already on the phone when I took the photo the battery has a 2,200mAh 🙂

The USB Travel Charger is a 1000mA with an autovolt feature.

First thing that you will notice on the DTC (GT17) Jupiter it resembles with the popular HTC One, But I really like the build and quality of the phone very solid but seems quite heavy though, I like the Glossy finish on the side not like the other Local Smartphones where they put a silver design which I am not a big fan because it can tear as time goes by.

You will see at the back the 13MP Camera with LED Flash at the bottom and on the bottom part is the Speaker and the DTC Logo and some quick info’s of the assembly which is DTC Singapore.

at the top is the Power Button and the 3.5mm Earphone Plug, at the bottom is the USB socket where you can put your charger or use the phone for data transfer, Left side you will see the Volume Rocker but on the right side is plain and no buttons at all.

Going in Front is the 2mp Front Camera, and Sensors, what just disappointing is that the 3 Capacitive Buttons at the bottom part doesn’t light up when the phone is booted up, I’m not just sure if this is just on my unit because this is a review unit that came from the DTC itself. but then if yes that is a bummer 🙁

Well that is my quick Unboxing of the DTC (GT17) Jupiter, my unboxing video will also be uploaded soon so stay tune for more visualize representation of the phone.

My first Impression for DTC (GT17) Jupiter, it has a good build and design and I like the glossy side 😉 , although for some they may say it’s a copycat of HTC One well for me still way far because this is a pure plastic version but it just resembles in some design aesthetics. I didn’t check yet the phone on how it performs but will let you know soon guys 🙂

stay tune also for my full review of this phone, although I mentioned some of the glitches already hoping that DTC (GT17) Jupiter will still have a good Performance and Battery life and will have a good grade with me on my overall review 😉 . see you on my full review again guys! 🙂
