Samsung to release Chromebook 2 series laptops — 11.6″ and 13.3″ variants

Samsung today unveiled its Chromebook 2 series a 11.6″ and 13.3″ version, the new pair of Chromebook will go on sale next month.

The 13.3-inch model also features a Full HD (1920×1080) resolution screen and the 11.6-inch model that will have a HD display (1366 x 768).

Lightning fast performance

Both Chromebook will cater Samsung Exynos 5 Octa but the 11.6″ variant will have only 1.9Ghz while the 13.3″ will have 2.1Ghz, they will also have 4GB of RAM and 16GB of Storage, Both offers a 720 HD Web Camera and Roughly will have an 8 hours of Battery Life.

This will not be the most affordable Chromebook but still has a lower price comparing to Windows 8.1 Laptops the 11.6″ will sell at $319.99 while the 13.3″ variant will be around $399.99.

All three color options feature the faux-leather backs found on Samsung’s Galaxy Note handsets, complete with stitching around the edge of the lid.
