Microsoft Lumia 535 Dual SIM Unboxing and Initial Impression

    Build and Design

Lumia Devices are almost identical in terms of build and design they uses the same polycarbonate changeable shells available in color green, orange, cyan, white, dark grey and black to show off your personality. As mentioned I got the Cyan color matte finish texture it also comes with a glossy back cover.

Simple yet so Elegant minimalist design, lightweight feel and easy to grip even it has smooth curve edges.
In front is the 5-inch qHD, (960 x 540; 16:9) IPS, Gorilla Glass 3 , earpiece with the Microsoft logo on the center top and the 5-megapixel auto focus at the upper right corner including the light and proximity sensors. It doesn’t have a capacitive buttons that’s why they manage to make the top and bottom bezels really thin, same with both left and right edges.

The left side doesn’t any buttons all are in the right side (power button and volume rocker). At the top is just the 3.5mm Jack while at the bottom is the USB port for charging and data transfer.

Opening the back cover is quite tricky but it’s indicated on the sticker at the back, by pushing the USB nudge downwards it opens the back cover easily. Inside is the 2 SIM Card Slot both are Micro SIM and the TF Card slot / Micro SD capable upto 128GB of Storage.

Back is a full black color plastic material even the battery has Microsoft Logo.

Very minimalist back design, 5-megapixel rear camera with the LED flash on the left having also the Microsoft logo in the center and the small speaker grill at the bottom most part.

    Packaging

The packaging of the box is a colorful square type design with the image of Lumia 535 and having just the text on the side. It comes with a Travel charger that is just 100mA but the USB is not detachable, in case you want to charge it on a powerbank you need to buy a separate USB Data cable. 3.5mm Earphone is also included without a mic button but has a mouth piece. Other stuffs includes Quick Guide available in 2 languages.

    First Impression

Booting up the device takes a while and the setup part took lots of reboot and installation of apps is around 15–20mins (wi-fi not needed to install). Viewing angles is just OK, the panel has a gap between the display so once our view it around near 180 degrees it has a shift on the brightness but no issue of shifting colors.

It will welcome you with the tile windows, customizing it is very easy simply hold any of the icons for a couple of seconds then click the arrow and adjust it the way you wanted. the display is not that too sharp and bright because of the lower resolution but it’s so far responsive and smooth in terms navigating the UI.

Reported by other reviews that it’s having a touch sensitivity issue but on my current device I think they already fixed it and glad to know so far no issue with the keyboard and touch sensitivity. it has a pre built apps like facebook, skype lumia selfie, Here drive+ and other bunch of apps that is usually included with the lumia devices.

That’s it for now, will give you further details on my full review in a couple of days be sure to watch my unboxing video in case you haven’t watched it yet and let me know in the comment section what are the things you want to know on my full review.

We will be happy to hear your thoughts
